![]() The towel provides extra padding when setting the bag down on a hard floor and it keeps the body in a generally vertical orientation in the bag. I then let the M6 rest on its end on the small end of the towel - the lens (while mounted on the M6) then rests on the roll. Also, I roll a small hand towel and place it at the bottom of the center compartment - I allow a small end of the towel to extend tangentially from the roll. The recess is handy for concealing a passport, money and/or a map.Īs described above, I keep an M6TTL, 50 Summicron (mounted on body), 90 Summicron (in zipper case), Gossen Digiflash, SF20, 4-5 rolls of film, a cell phone, two pens, and Lutz SFILL in my F5XB. ![]() There is also a hidden recess between the front wall of the bag and a second padded interior front wall. A third compartment holds a flash, film, small meter. A second compartment holds a second lens in the standard Leica zipper lens case. One compartment holds an M body + lens mounted. The main compartment can be divided into three sections by the dividers. The shoulder "gripper" strap is removable and can be threaded through a loop along an outer surface of a back wall for wearing the bag around you waist. There is a main flap that covers the main compartment and front wall, and is held in the a closed position by velcro. The main compartment has a zipper closure. The outer surface of the front wall has several pockets for pens, a phone, etc. It is very compact, has a main compartment (26.5 x 11.5 x 16.5 cm) that can be divided by two movable (velcro) padded divider walls. A Domke F5XB is perfect for your described need.
